Count Stefan Colonn Walewski's manuscripts led to the research and development of the Egyptian Healing Rods. The rods were originally called the Wands of Horus, named after the ancient Egyptian god of harmony. It was found that the priests and pharaohs of ancient Egypt used the cylindrical rods to harmonize the two main energetic streams, which ancient Egyptians called Ba & Ka, commonly known as or Yin & Yan according to the Oriental traditions.
RODS.RUŽ has been exploring and producing the cylindrical rods since 1994. In 1994 a teacher of physics V. P. Kovtun obtained material from the manuscript of Count Walewski, titled The System of Caucasian Yoga, which has been extremely popular in Tbilisi during the 70's in the semblance of re-written school exercise-books. In this manuscript the process of making cylindrical-shaped rods used in Ancient Egypt is discussed. In 1997 having studied the works by I. Shmelev, A. Martynov and A. Golod the production of the Rods according to the Principle of the Golden Section began and were processed in the Pyramid. First Rods under the trade mark The Cylinders of Pharaoh-HORUS were then manufactured.
In 1999 they became trademarked as: The Rods-KONT, The Rods-QUARTZ & The Rods-CRYSTAL. In May, 2000, together with International Shaping Federation, development of a new type of Rod, the Antipipho, began. In March 2001 The Rods-Free were introduced. In January 2003 the KOVTUN company is renamed RODS.RU. In 2000 the Rods are voted the best product at the specialized exhibition of Alternative Medicine in Moscow. In May of 2000 development of a new type of the Rods Antipipho began in cooperation with International Shaping Federation. The Egyptian Rods were voted the best product at the Special Art Exhibition in Moscow for the second timein 2000. In 2001 the Rods' debut in Czechia and Poland. In January 2003 the KOVTUN company is renamed RODS.RU.
